When YEN-WAI was notified that his father and half brother are coming back, he became very angry. Because he and his mother were left behind by his father who went off to the States and got married again and they had to live very poorly in the family house in the country side. YEN-WAI's father is a well-to-do cold meat merchant, but his wife stopped him from taking care of them . And YEN-WAI took in a chicken farm and takes care of themselves. He hasn't seen his father for half his life, so now he prepares a good meal and a comfortable place ready to welcome him. His auntie is most pleased to see this from him. When they were at the airport, his half brother, YEN-KIT, was carrying only their father's ashes. He was also told they must carry on with the cold meat business and to live in the old house . This is too much for YEN-WAI.
