LUNG was a department head of Human Resources Department. He was arrogant because he had the authority to cut down the number of staff. Colleagues hated him very much. LUNG and his friend SZE, who speculated in shares and property, had bought an apartment in Parklane Garden for speculation. They intended to sell it at sixteen million dollars. LUNG’s boss PETER had invited a consultant LAN about cutting down the headcount . LAN proposed to begin at the middle level. SZE’s father POR was an owner of a condiment shop. He was stubborn and always quarreled with SZE. His daughter KAI and her husband pleased him by pretending to be thrifty. LUNG was in a very bad mood. Besides worrying of being fired, he got several summons and BO spent a lot on audio system. LUNG’s mother DAN asked him and BO to live with her. However, LUNG persuaded her to move to his place……
