Bharat Saxena, Chief Reporter at a news agency can be seen struggling to breathe as he is complaining about severe stomach pain. He tells his colleagues that all he ate was a chocolate while they are trying to get a doctor for help. As they are trying to inform Bharat's wife of the incident, one of their colleagues goes to Bharat's house only to find his wife dead . CID team is inquiring about her death, when they come to know that she too ate the chocolates that Bharat had eaten. Just then Bharat's friend, Mr. Khanna, informs the team that he had given those chocolates to Bharat as he had received them as a gift for an award. Could it be that the murderer's target was Mr. Khanna and not Bharat? Or is Mr. Khanna behind all this?
