LIK proposes marriage to SZE. SZE takes the ring but she doesn’t feel anything. ALAN resigns from his job. WAN suggests him to work for her father in America but ALAN doesn’t want to have further relationship with her. SZE receives a videotape of ALAN’s interview at Singapore and realizes that she has misunderstood ALAN completely. She rushes to Lamma Island to look for him. SZE apologizes to ALAN and blames herself for not trusting him at all . They hug each other happily. LIK finds that SZE and ALAN are holding hands at the ferry pier and he scolds ALAN madly. LIK resorts to drink at a pub. He comes into conflict with some strangers and is attacked by them violently. LIK is seriously hurt and is sent to the hospital. SZE and ALAN rush to the hospital. LIK turns mad when seeing them . In order to calm him down, SZE and ALAN pretend that they have not reconciled with each other and SZE is still his future wife.… ...
