CHI passes the money and an invitation card to CHEUNG. CHEUNG knows what it is all about, and therefore does not give any comments. The party room is packed with guests but nobody dares to take his seat before CHEUNG’s arrival. CHUNG hates to be an object of ridicule and is about to reveal the truth. Just before he makes the announcement, CHEUNG comes along. The guests surge forward to greet CHEUNG as soon as they catch sight of him . FUNG has not heard from CHI for a long time, which distresses her acutely. CHI has suddenly come around to see her. Not until this moment do they realize that both of them have a real concern for each other. CHI and FUNG go to visit FUK in prison.
