YEE suggests having a day-off on Christmas at a meeting with ROGER, YEE and other staff members. KWAI, HOI-YEE and YEE are talking happily about YEE’s holiday at home. BRIAN, YEE’s boyfriend, calls on suddenly to tell her he cannot make it to Thailand, disappointing her to the core. CHU and his family talk about their Mid-Autumn Festival plan. TUNG leaves suddenly, looking much occupied . Later, he is surprised to find YEE drinking beer at the pier. YEE is upset that BRIAN cannot go to Thailand with her. In return, he tells her the promise he once made to his former wife, JESSIE. JESSIE has just returned to Hong Kong. TUNG sees her and YEE together. Later, he tells YEE how he had overheard that JESSIE had an abortion many years ago.
