MEI-CHING is reading an article about 3S women, i.e. women who are single, born in the seventies, and stuck. YEE pays no attention to the article. Instead, she is more interested in the circus that is playing in town. ROGER buys two tickets for the circus from HING and invites YEE to the show. To his disappointment, she claims she is not interested . A colleague jokes that HOI is digging his own grave, because ROGER is going out with YEE at the moment. YEE, who walks past, hears their conversation. YEE’s high heel breaks as she is walking on the street. She calls MEI-CHING. Unexpectedly, ROGER shows up in his convertible with a pair of new high heels. In order to thank him, she invites him to her place to teach him how to cook Chinese dishes. YEE tells TUNG happily she is seeing ROGER . TUNG is curious what is going on between them.
