KWAI waits YEE at Joyful Kitchen. YEE has received piles of letters from her supporters. The letter sent from Buenos Aires catches her attention. MAK LOK-KEI, a business friend of TUNG’s, tells TUNG to pass a pair of wedding bangles to YEE. The memory of how her mother and her younger sister left home returns to her as soon as she sees the bangles. TUNG has bought some chocolate donuts to YEE to cheer her up after learning about her past . YEE has a dream of her father forcing her to burn her mother and sister’s photographs. She cannot see her mother’s face clearly in the dream. She wakes with a start. She cannot believe that she has forgotten how her mother looks like. YEE asks KWAI to sell the bangles, so KWAI takes them to Pakbaodot. TUNG volunteers to take care of the sales of the bangles.
