TAN wants to buy a bigger bed. HUNG thinks she and YAN should buy a flat instead. YAN has decided he will only work hard for one year. He is very grateful to TAN for her understanding and support. PO overhears their conversation. TAN is exited to learn from SUN that YAN has a family heirloom. YAN lies that one of the pair of the “heart-to-heart pendant” was already lost. PO is so careless that she leaks out the secret to HUNG, who leaves in anger . YAN tells TAN his feeling as she is trying to cheer him up. He thanks her for her support. TAN tries to get the “heart-to-heart pendant” from YAN but to no avail. TAN and the rest of her family are all very interested at a sea view apartment. But knowing that there is no way YAN can afford it, ON and TAN criticize the flat as much as they can. HUNG, however, has already paid for the down payment.
