ON, FONG and KEI tell YI as she is packing that they will treat her just the same even though they have no blood relation. She is touched. SHEUNG follows TAN home after movie. YAN gets very keyed-up. He tells TAN not to hang around with SHEUNG so often but to no avail. PO has been discharged. Unwillingly to see YI return to the States, she suggests acting as her nominal mother . YI calls and informs her mother, who is in the USA, the good news in no time. PO throws a banquet at a restaurant for YI, who will be her nominal daughter from now on. WAH, YI’s mother, shows up suddenly. PO invites her to join them. TAN does not believe that WAH can be so dignified. PO does not agree with her.
