JESSICA has successfully convinced KEI’s secretary to appear in court and testify against KEI. The case is finally settled. VINCENT apologizes to LING but LING claims that she needs some time to think about their relationship. On the tram, LING breaks down weeping and BEN tries to give her some words of comfort. NA’s chamber is contacted to handle a murder case after it is officially open for business . VINCENT is busy helping his cousin POON MAN DIK to search for his lost wife JANET. The murder case is then passed to BEN and LING offers to become his assistant. In order to help reconcile her with VINCENT, BEN would rather have JESSICA as his assistant. BEN and JESSICA have a meeting with SHIU FEI, the person who is charged with murder .
