SUM is astonished to hear that LEUNG is involved in a car accident. She hurries to the hospital at once but by the time she arrives, LEUNG has already passed away. Among the things left behind by LEUNG, SUM has found a sea shell, on which the words “Please Forgive Me” are carved. SUM breaks down again as she catches sight of the sea shell . KAI, who is lying on his bed in the hospital, explains to his children that it was HAU’s decision to pass the four remaining “double head abalones” to KAM. He hopes that KAM will have a change of heart after receiving this precious present from the TONGS. SUM is still suffering from the pain of losing LEUNG. ON do nothing but keep her company day in and day out . To make SUM feel better, ON decides to bribe the taxi driver who knocked LEUNG down. As instructed by ON, the taxi driver approaches SUM and tells her that LEUNG had said he had read her email before he fell to the ground.… ...
