CHEUNG secretly hides the money in his house as instructed by the kidnapper. The police has a photograph of the kidnapper and from his birthmark, his identity is disclosed. A flat is burnt. KAN and YUN are found seriously hurt by fire in it. They are in a comatose. CHIT receives therapy of hypnotism. She recalls the relationship between YUNG and MAN. YUNG overlooks CHIT's diary and learns that CHIT marries him to pay what he has done for her . He is depressed and decides to leave CHIT. CHIT has no objection. YI and LUING come across MICHAEL in the hospital. They learn that KAN loves dogs and they suspect that KAN is also a victim in the kidnap.
