TSAN enters LOK’s room and beats him up. HEI stops him. She tells him the reason why she marries LOK. CHAN YUK HING, the younger sister of LOK, listens to her younger brother, CHAN HING FUNG, and believes that HEI marries LOK for his money. She makes things difficult for HEI. YEE smells opium from the broken bamboo lot that TSAN is holding in his hand. Following this clue, TSAN investigates Lok Fung Hong . LUI BING, the brother-in-law of LAW KIN who is the leader of the porters, makes an appointment with TSAN to meet up at Mountain God Temple at night. FU kills BING and takes away from him the receipts for the smugglings of white silver of Sam Shing Tong. TSAN does not see BING at the temple when he gets there. He sees a person dressed in black trying to rape a woman instead . TSAN comes to her rescue and comes to know LIN YUNG, the new police chief. LOK goes to the teahouse to collect debts……
