BILL asks SIN KA TAK who is a friend of SAN's nephew PING to gather evidence for SAN's crime. To avenge on ROCKY, FAN attempted to murder him. She fails and falls into his hands. ROCKY beats her fiercely and rapes her again. Feeling, hopeless, FAN tries to kill herself. On knowing this, CHEUNG applies to CHUEN for a leave in order to save FAN. CHUEN shows some reluctance as the whole team is busy following SAN's case . CHUEN refuses to grant him the leave. However, CHEUNG is much supported by his team-mates. Only by then does GHUEN' realizes that his influence is weak. To stand a better chance to be promoted, CHUEN knows that he needs to be on friendly terms with his subordinates. Hence, not daring to antagonize them, CHUEN compromises with CHUEN. In the end, ROCKY is arrested and charged on a number of crimes . Knowing that ROCKY cannot avoid paying for his crime, SAN arranges to sneak him out of Hong Kong.
