(End of flashback) Back to 1930s, NGO-TIN, who contributed money and resources to support the new government, receives an autograph from the Chairman, "For the country and the people". After SIU-LAU returns from Beiping, she goes to visit YUET-LAN, who endeavors to play matchmaker for SIU-LAU. So HON LAP meets up with NGO-TIN, asking him to help them find the killer. Through the photos, NGO-TIN infers that the murderer should be TAI-FUI, one of the workers in the cotton mill . However, TAI-FUI is also murdered, which greatly exasperates KWUN-CHIU and the other Axe Gang members……
