LU pays for WONG so as to stop others beating him. WONG has to make the flower of the `merit plant` blossom before they could return to the palace. WONG then tells stories in the restaurant to entertain the public. PANG tries to poison TSUI to death but is choked by soya bean curd instead. HEI cannot cure PANG. MOON lies to PANG that TSUI is dead. PANG immediately recovers. MOON eventually enlightens HEI . MOON, CHU and HEI go to the Clear Water Town. LU sees that HEI has bought MOON a lantern. She knows that HEI and MOON are very good friends. HEI goes to the restaurant to see WONG but he only finds LU`s jade couple. MOON is so angry that she breaks the jade couple. LU goes back to the restaurant to search for the jade couple. She sees HEI who is waiting for her. CHU advises MOON to dress like LU. LU also helps to match-make HEI and MOON . HEI eventually accepts MOON.
