KIU-PAK goes to WING-YIN’s home to have dinner. When WING-YIN is cooking, she receives a phone call from CHING-SUM. Not wanting to let KIU-PAK find out about this, she makes an excuse and steps outside. CHING-SUM tells her that they should not meet each other anymore to avoid suspicion. At the same time, they both throw away their phones that were used exclusively for making contact . WING-YIN is about to leave Hong Kong, so she introduces the journalists to their new boss. Yet, TSZ-YUE appears to be very unhappy. Knowing that WING-YIN has trouble sleeping, KIU-PAK tries to use hypnotherapy on her. Later, he learns that the Independent Commission Against Corruption (ICAC) starts investigating CHING-SUM. However, he cannot find any relevant clues, which leaves him no other choice but to re-visit LOK-YEE’s case . Surprisingly, he discovers that it was CHEUNG HAK who waited next to the garbage bin for the ransom money……
