A guy, MAN, beats HEI terribly, as HEI has no money to pay for his meal. HEI is so irritated that he even admits all crimes including arson chare which is none of his business. MAN forces HEI to take the poisoned wine. LARINE is willing take the poisoned wine for HEI’s sake. In fact, MAN is actually SHAN. SHAN is so disappointed with the government and seclude himself from the palace and waits upon a chance to help EMPEROR again . He intends to make LARINE and HEI reconcile. TAN lets EMPEROR to blink his eyes to identify characters so that he could express himself. JOJO asks TAN to kill LARINE. TAN refuses. Meanwhile, EMPEROR appears. He blinks his eyes as signals to tell the officials about JOJO’s bad deeds. TOU tries to disturb EMPEROR’s thought. TOU is so exhausted that gives EMPEROR a chance to recover instead. JOJO is being sentenced to death . TAN is willing to sacrifice his throne to save JOJO……
