Mariana goes to ask Nonô for more time to vacate the house, but ends up overhearing him telling Frosina that if he saw her, he would beat her up . Tomás and Mariana choose an apartment to live in. Ângela gets ready for dinner at Renato's house and tells Judite that she's going to give him an "ultimatum." Ângela tells Renato's family that he is prejudiced and that, after he found out her mother is black, he no longer wants to marry her. Helena supports her son, while Bel opposes her brother.
