During his military career, Clifford Stone was tasked with the recovery of bodies and technology from crashed alien craft. It was an especially stressful duty that was compounded by his special psychic abilities. Emery Smith has direct experiences with such operations himself . Together they share many commonalities of their experiences, working to rescue and recover injured extraterrestrials and the strange technology they encountered inside these otherworldly vehicles.
