Newfoundland Sylvie is a big therapy dog with big soft cuddles who loves to help people when they’re worried. She and her owner Katrina visit all sorts of people every day, young and old. Sylvie and Katrina are visiting some schoolchildren on their very first day at school. Sylvie knows the children will be feeling nervous and excited all at once . She helps the children find the classroom with a big blue pencil on its door, and then she and Katrina help the children do a relay race around an obstacle course in the school hall. The children are nervous, so Sylvie offers to go first. But when one little girl, Navinda, is scared of 'the big bear', Sylvie has to use her superheart to be be calmer and friendlier than ever before.
