Coral meets with her mother for the first time since being thrown out of the house after getting pregnant at age 16 and learns of her father's death eight months previous. The meeting doesn't resolve any of their issues but Coral won't stop Belinda from seeing her grandmother. Dean's parents offer to match his earnings 2:1 but he doesn't tell them he's working for the competition at the bakery . Frannie begins her work experience at her father's company under the tutelage of his boss, Clive McInery. Despite an eventful trial run, Dean is given the job at the Bakery.
