In the eighth episode of the third season of Feuer & Flamme, the fire brigade is faced with two complicated situations – a hedge fire and the rescue of a senior citizen – and celebrates the annual Fire Brigade Olympics. Bochum: The fire brigade is alerted to a hedge fire. When they arrive on site, the fire has already spread to two cars and threatens to spread to the adjacent house . Every second counts now! To make matters worse, one of the two cars is a hybrid vehicle - another new challenge for the emergency services, who have never had to put out a fire of this kind before. An elderly gentleman has been seriously injured when he fell into his garage pit and needs the help of the fire brigade . The annual fire brigade Olympics are taking place at the inner-city station, where employees can compete and challenge each other in various disciplines.
