Mankind is dead, destroyed by the evil computer GORN. The only survivors are six young women, shot deep into space by the android Catty. The creation of an alien race, only she understands the terrible cycles of war and destruction that devastate our race. And only she foresaw the coming disaster . Now, as the Earth smolders, a single escape pod races away, bound for an unknown destination. But GORN is close behind, with a powerful pursuit ship and a squadron of fighters. Through brain surgery and cybernetic implants, GORN now inhabits the body of Nova, its human tool. But GORN is not limited to a single body or single location. Like a computer virus, GORN can transmit itself into any computer.
