Gangadhar and Manu get ready for the wedding ceremony. Moropant is worried that the priest has not yet arrived. Tatya Tope assures him that he will get the priest. Moropant is moved when he sees his daughter, Manu, dressed as a bride. Motibai wants to leave because a courtesan cannot attend the wedding but Manu tells her that she has to attend the wedding as an elder sister. Jankibai assures Moropant that she will get the priest to the temple . Manu tells Tatya Tope that she is waiting for Samar Singh. Fraser tells his soldiers to keep an eye for Samar. Samar arrives and Manu leaves for the temple.
