A furious Laxmibai asks Shyam Chaudhary and the other treacherous traders to leave Jhansi for supporting the British and not protecting their motherland. Shyam Chaudhary apologises to her and promises to lend her his support. Moropant tells Laxmibai that Anand needs to perform a ritual and be cleansed with Holy Water. When the ritual gets completed, Moropant and the others are shocked to see that Anand is missing . A worried Moropant informs Laxmibai that Anand is missing. Hamilton, who arrives in Jhansi, sees Anand alone and crying in the forest. He realises that Anand is the Prince of Jhansi. Later, the East India Company flag is hoisted at the Commissionerate by Hamilton. Just then, he sees Anand crying and his dogs barking at Anand. Meanwhile, Laxmibai pleads with her subjects to help her find Anand. Ellis too promises to trace Anand . The wicked Hamilton decides to set his dogs loose on Anand.
