Rao Dulajo is publicly tortured in Jhansi by the subjects. They demand that his body be thrown out of Jhansi. Laxmibai then exhorts her subjects to unite to destroy their enemies like Hugh Rose. Karma says that he suspects it is Hugh Rose . Laxmibai asks everyone to be on high alert. Meanwhile, Hugh Rose promises to seek revenge from Laxmibai. In England, Queen Victoria is furious hearing about the turn of events. She is then informed that Hugh Rose is still alive.
