They were 23 young women, from 18 to 20 years old, carrying out their compulsory military service in a very special unit responsible for video surveillance of the Gaza Strip. In Israel, these young girls are nicknamed the eyes of the state. Before October 7, they saw everything, including everything. They alerted, but no one listened to them.
