Security guard CHAN LAP TIN addicts to gambling and fails to take up the family. Therefore, his wife PUEN MAY MAY takes up his role and bears the family burden. Because of pressure, MAY becomes mean and lengthy; thus, her father-in-law, CHAN YAT LOK and mother-in-law, TAM SHAU are afraid of her very much. One day, when LOK chases the slip away lottery ticket, he meets his neighbor, HO BALL; who is dead already . At that moment, he realizes that he is died because of heart attacked. BALL suggests LOK to make use of the coming week before he goes to heaven. The spirit of LOK returns home. He is upset when he finds that TIN and MAY cannot reach a compromise on his funeral ceremony; however, LOK realizes that MAY respects him very much.
