Roughly in the middle of Denmark lies Sprogø - and here Jørgen and Nikolaj cast their line together for the last time. The dream is to bring home a sea trout. But this trip is something very special: It is Jørgen's last hunt with Nikolaj. They share the silence, the wind and the memories of the years together - and of course also make sure to keep their palates moist with cold beer . But the sea trout is capricious, and if it fails to appear, the journey ends with mysterious remains from the bottom of a sinister freezer.
