Rodney is mad at Martin Peyton for hiding a huge secret for all those years, but he rationalizes it by explaining that he did it to protect Catherine. Rodney admits that he doesn't remorse not having loved his mother. Meanwhile, Betty is worried about Steven, who has been missing since Hannah's testimony. Michael tells to Rachel that Jack won't force her to go back to the farm, but that she will have to go to a foster home because she is a minor . Steven returns and claims to Betty that he isn't mad about the truth.
