Kathryn breaks into tears as she tells her mom that she is considering leaving the show due to her relationship with Laterrian and the reactions of her teammates. The next mission requires the Road Rules team to compete against the Playboy Extreme Team in a synchronized swimming event. The night before the competition the Road Rules team is having trouble with team morale because of problems between Laterrian and Kathryn . The entire cast ends up in a heated discussion about what really went on between Laterrian and Kathryn. After admitting that she lied about her fling with Laterrian, Kathryn makes peace with her teammates and decides to stay on the show. The Road Rules team enjoys success in their synchronized swimming competition against the Playboy Extreme Team.
