Jethro has girl trouble—he can't get one! Jed and Granny decide throw a wing-ding where he and Elly Mae can meet nice young folks. The bank's Ms. Hathaway and Mr. Drysdale help in arranging the musical talent. They mention the Beatles, Byrds, Herman's Hermits, Freddie and the Dreamers and the Animals! There's a very funny extended discussion about the Beatles where Mr . Drysdale schemes a way to get them as depositors for his bank! Jethro and Ms. Hathaway go the Whisky-A-Go-Go and find the Enemys (featuring a very young Cory Wells—later of The Dog Night.) wailing on ""Mojo Woman"" and ""Oh Pretty Woman,"" and ""Turkey In The Straw."" The Enemys sound like the Yardbirds! Lengthy extended scenes featuring the Enemys and wild teens dancing the jerk, frug and boogaloo! Jethro ends up wearing a Beatle wig! There's also a groovy ""beat music"" square dance! Must see rock n roll TV!
