Live episode. Becker and Bradford are held hostage in the yard by a drunk wielding a knife. Becker is dragged into a carrier and Bradford escapes to get backup. Okaro takes control and orders Kent, Klein and Smith storm the van and but Becker has been stabbed, and she tragically dies in hospital. There are complications when the suspect swallows his tongue in custody . Best comes face-to-face with his father's murderer and during a rooftop tussle when Ellis escapes from an open custody door, Ellis falls to his death with Gary on top of him. Carver and Ackland reminisce over their twenty years of service together at Sun Hill when he is in hospital after being assaulted by his drunken wife, Marie. Murphy sees Taviner in the yard, and realizes he is alive . Webb returns to collect his belongings and reveals that he has transferred to the Murder Investigation Team, but has a frosty reception due to his rape by Martin Delaney, but tells his former colleagues to ignore it.
