DS Phil Hunter and DC Eva Sharpe follow separate lines of enquiry when investigating a young prostitute who's been stabbed. Phil believes that a young schizophrenic is responsible but Eva takes the time to delve deeper and uncover the actual perpetrator. But an unorthodox interview with a bailed suspect lands her in a life-threatening situation with corrupt social worker, Martin Fisher (Don Gilet from Baby Father) . PC Nick Klein is furious when Phil takes the credit on the case and decides to expose him once and for all. Nick puts in a call to Phil's wife but will he really tell her about Phil's secret love child Madison?
