Brown and the sister of a suspect in an armed robbery investigation are taken captive by armed drug addicts. Carter, convinced he knows who is behind both the robbery and the kidnapping, mounts an observation with Armstrong and Gayle, but their operation is compromised when the kidnap victim's ex-husband arrives at the scene to confront their prime suspect . When Carter discovers his prime suspect is not responsible, he enlists his help to identify two of his employees, the men suspected of the abduction. Fletcher is intrigued to discover the toy shop manager was victim of another armed robbery a few years earlier; is he foolish enough to try it again or is it pure coincidence?
