The Magnet Men tell Polly and Underdog, who are still stuck to what is their great gravity gun, that they are hungry and want to eat metal. As a result, they are forced to go back to Earth and to tell everyone to give everything they have metal to them within 24 hours, or else the men will use the gun to pull the Earth away from the sun. They have no choice but to do what they say . However, no one believes Polly's announcement on television, and so everyone in town mobs her studio. Even Professor Bruno Heimerdown doesn't believe them. Polly and Underdog fear they have no choice but to face the Earth's destruction.
