On the day of the Uminazuki Summer Festival, Munechika arrives at UNREAL, where Yagio desperately tries to stop him. Having regained his memories and uncovered the truth, Munechika declares that he no longer wants Yagio to make endless sacrifices on his behalf and that he accepts his destiny. Yagio, however, pleads with him not to take away his only wish—a future in which Munechika lives . As their opposing views of what is “righteous” run parallel, Munechika tells him that he has already waited twenty years, and now they must wait just a little longer, before leaving UNREAL. Witnessing the exchange, Saketoba (Ryo Sekoguchi) offers Yagio a suggestion. Meanwhile, Munechika arrives at the festival grounds . As the fateful moment of his death approaches, he rushes toward the handshake venue with Rinto—only to catch sight of Negishi along the way…
