SUM opens the box FU gave her and finds in it a note inviting her out on the New Year Eve. She arrives at where they are supposed to meet but FU is not there. Minutes later, he shows up suddenly and gives her an expensive watch. They then smooch on the street. MAN, who has been following SUM secretly, is stunned to see this. MEI has invited MING to the family’s New Year Eve party . SUM is taken by surprise to see that FU and MING are the same person, whereas FU is astonished, too. Although SUM acts as if she is all right, everybody can see she is upset. MAN takes her to paraglide so as to cheer her up. MEI introduces FU to CHUK. The two old people enjoy FU’s company immensely. At HEI’s memorial, MEI and other family members share with one another their memories with HEI in the past.
