Pavel is becoming increasingly aware that his feelings for Frode have not faded. He realises that he was too hasty in leaving, succumbing to jealousy. Pavel decides to talk openly with Frode about the future. He admits that he regrets the years spent away from her and wants to try to start over. Froda hesitates for a long time: the past has left scars on her soul, and she is afraid of making another mistake . But in the end, she decides to give their relationship a second chance. Pavel's children are delighted to see that the adults are coming to an understanding.
