SUN reveals that the knitting factory is making profits and that the female workers will all be able to make a living very soon. KWAN finds the news very encouraging, as females can finally rely on themselves without any financial support from men. FONG asks KWAN to go shopping with her. While trying on new clothes in the department store, FONG throws a tantrum and projects all her anger out onto DAN . DAN is subsequently dismissed from her job for no reason at all. MAN who is sitting in his car is shocked to see DAN staggering in the street with her luggage. DAN reveals to MAN that she has been jobless for quite a while and is too broke to afford the rent, as a result of which, she is kicked out of her residence by the landlord. DAN would like to make a deal with MAN . Knowing that DAN is stuck in such a miserable situation, MAN gives her a pile of cash straight away so that she can put up at an inn for the time being……
