KWAN almost twists her ankle in the street, and CHEUNG who passes by has just caught the entire scene. CHEUNG comes over to KWAN and asks her to attend a party with him as his partner. MAN takes DAN to the party, at which he not only introduces the girl to a record company owner but also sponsors her for a singing session. Completely uninterested in DAN’s solo performance, KWAN walks out of the venue straight away . CHEUNG reveals to KWAN that Arthur Hill is going to be renamed after DAN. He then proceeds to ask KWAN to repay him by doing him a favor. CHEUNG needs KWAN’s collaboration in screwing up MAN’s re-development project. SHING passes MAN a jewelry casket, which is reportedly discovered by the domestic maids earlier on during a daily clean-up. MAN opens the casket and finds KWAN’s chess set-cum-diamond necklace inside……
